Actually, not that many people. And that's surprising.
The economy keeps tossing bad numbers, bad news, bad vibes at entrepreneurs, small businesses, medium companies and large corporations. It's definitely affecting the employee engagement in both degree and desire. We sense it, see it, hear about it.
But we don't read much about it.
I've had the pleasure of reading a few blog postings in the past couple of weeks and of writing several myself.
But not enough, I figure.
Here are some references and recommendations for you to click to:
- Michael Stallard's blog posting: Thoughts on Leadership and Employee Engagement

- Jarvis Cromwell's posting: 10 Low-Cost Ways to Improve Employee Engagement in the Downturn

I'll offer you a baker's dozen tips: 4 each on Tuesday (12/9), Wednesday (12/10), and Thursday (12/11).Please come back every day.
I hope you will take one or all of these actions:
- Share the information in all of this week's postings with friends and associates.
- Offer me your own suggestions for how to keep the engagement fires burning when the economy is raining bad news after bad news. Use the Comment option below or send me an e-mail (tim@wrightresults.com)
- Post this blog on yours, tell me that you did it, and look for me to return the favor in the future. I will, I promise.
